This course presents key information on gas cylinder safety and is applicable to all workers including contract workers who deliver and work with compressed gas cylinders. Compressed gases stored in portable cylinders are hazardous, and the risk to people and property must be minimised by correct storage, handling, and usage. This awareness course details correct procedures to ensure gas cylinder safety, and provides practical guidance to achieving the standards of health, safety and wellbeing required under OSH regulations.

The use of cell phones during training is frowned upon (discouraged). If you are ‘on call’, please put your phone on ‘silent’ on your desk and leave the room to take the call. Courses held at Cranfield are all interactive and your instructor will encourage participation, where appropriate. We provide a light lunch between courses which is included in the price, is not compulsory and you are welcome to bring your own if you have dietary challenges (preferences). We have delegates from all over our continent with different beliefs, dress codes, and everyone is very welcome.
