Our team is also able to provide Instructor Led Training via Teams/Zoom. We have also developed interactive and engaging e-learning courses for those who prefer completing their training at their own pace and convenience.

Airborne Collision Avoidance System (ACAS)

As air traffic increases, modern air traffic control systems ensure the necessary levels of flight safety are maintained, as the risk of airborne collision remains. Airbourne Traffic Avoidance Systems training equips crews with the skills and qualifications relating to Airborne Collision Avoidance System equipment and procedures and meets standards for ACAS II pilot ground school training.

AVMED Initial (Aviation Medicine)

The Aviation Medicine initial training program forms part of the Cabin Crew Initial training and can be attended as a stand-alone course. Covering a variety of possible medical scenarios that crew may encounter on board, including how to administer CPR, understanding typical signs and symptoms or certain medical conditions, and treatment thereof.

AVSEC Flight Crew (Aviation Security)

Aviation Security Training is developed in accordance with the SACAA Regulations and Guidance Material.
This AVSEC course covers bomb threats and warnings, how to deal with a bomb threat, searching for a suspect device, moving a suspicious device, and procedures connected to hijacking threats as well as air rage and unruly passengers.

Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS)

The Beyond Visual Line of Sight training program will provide RPL Pilots with a thorough understanding of the procedures to adopt when flying a drone beyond visual line of sight.
Note: Course attendees must hold a valid SACAA RPL License.

CRM Initial (Crew Resource Management) 

Crew Resource Management (CRM) Training improves flight safety and understanding of the Human Factor in aircraft incidents by implementing effective error management strategies in individuals and the system.
Providing aircrews to improve management skills, leadership, decision-making, situational awareness, workload management, stress and fatigue management, communication, Mind State Management, conflict resolution, and interpersonal interactions.

CRM Recurrency (Crew Resource Management)

Human error remains a significant causal factor in aviation incidents. Crew Resource Management (CRM) training provides aircrew and support personnel with an insight into CRM concepts by keeping up to date with the latest research in CRM. Provide crew with tools to enhance CRM skills required to manage threats and errors.

CRM RPC (Crew Resource Management)

This CRM RPL course addresses human factors for Drone Pilots, challenges they may face, and possible errors. The Aim is to broaden knowledge of human factors in unmanned aircraft operations. Understanding the human machine is vital and enables RPL Pilots to perform multi-functional tasks required for safe RPAS operations.

DG (Dangerous Goods)

The (DG) Dangerous Goods Awareness training program provides flight deck, cabin crew, and ground crew with the knowledge and understanding of the Provisions for DG carried by passengers or crew, knowledge of hidden DG, the IATA list of dangerous goods, Marking and Labelling of DG, DG Packaging and incompatible DG and emergency response procedures.

EWIS – Electrical Wiring Interconnect System

This EWIS – Electrical Wiring Interconnect System course covers 14 CFR part 25 aircraft, covering subjects such as EWIS policy and practices, primary factors associated with EWIS degradation, information on TC/STC data package requirements, EWIS selection and protection, routing, splicing and termination practices and EWIS maintenance concepts (including performing an EWIS general visual inspection).

The use of cell phones during training is frowned upon (discouraged).  If you are ‘on call’,  please put your phone on ‘silent’ on your desk and leave the room to take the call.  Courses held at Cranfield are all interactive and your instructor will encourage participation, where appropriate. We provide a light lunch between courses which is included in the price, is not compulsory and you are welcome to bring your own if you have dietary challenges (preferences). We have delegates from all over our continent with different beliefs, dress codes, and everyone is very welcome.
