The Safety Officer Drone Awareness (SODA) course is designed to provide other High-Risk Industry Safety Personnel with the basic information regarding the regulations, operational challenges and hazards that accompany the operation of Drones, in and around your company facility. Drones can cause major and catastrophic events if not operated safely.
Mining operations, construction sites, factories, Oil & Gas refineries and all other commercial facilities need to oversight drone operations at their facilities, and this course will provide Safety Officers and other personnel with the required knowledge to effectively oversight such operations.

The use of cell phones during training is frowned upon (discouraged). If you are ‘on call’, please put your phone on ‘silent’ on your desk and leave the room to take the call. Courses held at Cranfield are all interactive and your instructor will encourage participation, where appropriate. We provide a light lunch between courses which is included in the price, is not compulsory and you are welcome to bring your own if you have dietary challenges (preferences). We have delegates from all over our continent with different beliefs, dress codes, and everyone is very welcome.
