Course Overview

Course Duration: 5 Days (in Class), 30 Hours or at your own pace (Online).

Price: R8650 Per Person.

Our Accident Investigation course is a comprehensive program that covers everything from a “minor incident” to a more serious accident. The course includes causes, recommendations, independent and international investigations, field investigation including initial actions, wreckage distribution, accident diagrams, locating and interviewing, witnesses and much more.

The course covers the Cognitive, Behavioural, Aeromedical, Psychological and Organisational perspective of the accident crew and organisation.

This course will provide both Civil Aviation Authorities and inspectors as well as airline representatives with the necessary skills to conduct and report on an aircraft accident.

The use of cell phones during training is frowned upon (discouraged).  If you are ‘on call’,  please put your phone on ‘silent’ on your desk and leave the room to take the call.  Courses held at Cranfield are all interactive and your instructor will encourage participation, where appropriate. We provide a light lunch between courses which is included in the price, is not compulsory and you are welcome to bring your own if you have dietary challenges (preferences). We have delegates from all over our continent with different beliefs, dress codes, and everyone is very welcome.
