Course Overview

Course Duration: 4 Hours.

Price: R2200 Per Person.

Course Overview: Preparation for any situation is highly encouraged in aviation. We trust that the skills, training, maintenance, and safety procedures will keep us safe. However, on the million to one chance that there is a challenge, the survival course covers as many scenarios as possible. Such as:

  • Mindset and priorities
  • What we can eat in the wild
  • How to find or procure water.
  • How to light a fire and build a shelter against the elements/wild animals/people.

This is an excellent course for anyone who wants to understand bush survival techniques. The course is specifically designed for the Southern Africa Region and the applicable fauna and flora in the region.

The use of cell phones during training is frowned upon (discouraged).  If you are ‘on call’,  please put your phone on ‘silent’ on your desk and leave the room to take the call.  Courses held at Cranfield are all interactive and your instructor will encourage participation, where appropriate. We provide a light lunch between courses which is included in the price, is not compulsory and you are welcome to bring your own if you have dietary challenges (preferences). We have delegates from all over our continent with different beliefs, dress codes, and everyone is very welcome.
