The Dangerous Goods Awareness Training Program provides flight deck and cabin crew and ground crew with the knowledge and understanding of:
- Provisions for dangerous goods carried by passengers or crew.
- Knowledge of hidden dangerous goods.
- The IATA list of dangerous goods.
- Marking and Labelling of Dangerous Goods.
- Dangerous Goods Packaging and incompatible dangerous goods.
- Emergency response procedures.

The use of cell phones during training is frowned upon (discouraged). If you are ‘on call’, please put your phone on ‘silent’ on your desk and leave the room to take the call. Courses held at Cranfield are all interactive and your instructor will encourage participation, where appropriate. We provide a light lunch between courses which is included in the price, is not compulsory and you are welcome to bring your own if you have dietary challenges (preferences). We have delegates from all over our continent with different beliefs, dress codes, and everyone is very welcome.
