The Human Factor for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers program is specifically designed for Aircraft Engineers and focuses on the human factor applicable to this role, and human errors made by maintenance personnel. The program will help maintenance personnel develop attitudes, skills and procedures, which will ultimately assist in protecting them in their responsibility and accountability on the job and will provide learners with the tools to improve communication, decision-making, mind-state management, compliance, assertiveness, and a range of other skills required to reduce error and adequately manage the multitude of threats that accompany flight operations. The course provides a thorough understanding of the causes and impact of Human error on flight safety.

The use of cell phones during training is frowned upon (discouraged). If you are ‘on call’, please put your phone on ‘silent’ on your desk and leave the room to take the call. Courses held at Cranfield are all interactive and your instructor will encourage participation, where appropriate. We provide a light lunch between courses which is included in the price, is not compulsory and you are welcome to bring your own if you have dietary challenges (preferences). We have delegates from all over our continent with different beliefs, dress codes, and everyone is very welcome.
